Dr. Kanyinda is a fellowship trained ophthalmologist with a specialty in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, tear ducts, and the orbital areas surrounding the eye. This level of expertise in both ophthalmology and plastic surgery offers assurance any dry eye or other eye conditions will be considered while providing the most natural surgical results.

Dr. Nathan Kanyinda
Dr. Nathan Kanyinda, a Board-Certified Oculoplastic Surgeon, graduated with his medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He was amongst the top of his class receiving academic honors as well as a nomination to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He went on to further his expertise with a general medical internship at the University of Hawaii and his ophthalmology residency at Howard University Hospital and the VA Medical Centers in Washington, DC and Orlando, FL. He completed his Oculoplastic Surgery Fellowship at the University of New Mexico Hospital, a level one trauma center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His fellowship training included extensive surgical experience in the field of eyelid and facial plastics with combined cases in ENT, maxillofacial and general plastics surgery.
