Vision Insurance Plans vs. Medical Insurance Plans

Many patients have both vision and medical insurance. Each insurance covers different services and it’s important to know the differences. Please reference the chart below to better understand what each insurance may cover. Please familiarize yourself with your individual insurance plan benefits and requirements including:

• Co-pay, deductibles, and co-insurance percentages
• Referral to our specialty, if one is required by your plan

Beach Eye Care Accepts Most Health Insurance & Vision Plans

We participate with a vast majority of insurance plans. If your insurance requires a referral, please have your primary care provider fax the referral to 757-496-2457. If you have a Medicaid plan and have a medical issue, please contact your PCP to obtain a referral on file with your insurance for coverage at Beach Eye Care. This is required before your appointment. If you do not see your insurance plan listed here or have any questions, please contact our office. We will gladly verify coverage for you.
