Teresa Shenouda, MD graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and received her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio. Following a transitional intern year at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana and a subsequent ophthalmic residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Dr. Shenouda completed an Oculofacial and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the University of Kentucky. With this broad range of medical training, Dr. Shenouda comes to us with years of specialization in eyelid and facial surgery. Furthering our commitment to offering complete eye care services, Dr. Shenouda also offers patients cataract surgery in addition to upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty (eyelid lift surgery which removes excess skin and decreases fullness in the upper and lower eyelids). Dr. Shenouda has performed over 400 upper and lower eyelid procedures and also manages eyelid disorders including Graves disease, tumors, and certain types of cancers. Dr. Shenouda is available for cosmetic consultation for Botox®, Juvéderm® and Restylane®, as well as IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments and YAG laser treatments.
